The Jefferson Davis Award is selected by a committee of SCV members statewide. Each camp in the state can submit a list of all the camps activities for the past year. The committee uses this list to select the winner. It was presented to John (Pappy) Hawthorne, our camp commander at the State Reunion held June 2018.
